About the Project
Project Brief
Teams of 3-5 students are to develop a research-based design for the future of personal travel. The projects should address technology, the environment, personal perception, behaviors, social and human factors. Teams should engage in design thinking in order to identify opportunities in the redefinition of systems and spaces.
This project will require working in 2-D and 3-D in an iterative process of research, design, prototype, research… Students will have quantitative and qualitative data upon which to develop solutions and explore various the influence of form, light, sound, materials, technology, ecology and convenience on human choice. All original research sources must be retained and submitted as support for final solution.

A recyling application and monitored recycling bins deployed into the community along with establishing partnerships with local LA vendors can gamify the recycling experience, effectively increasing the likelihood of the community improving their environmental habits.
